If Koopa, who are ****, are used as the evidence then I think we might actually see a ****ter stream of bands who are both worse at music and uglier than previous bands but who have more knowledge of how to promote and market themselves without the aid of record companies.
In my opinion, a lot of the 'top' unsigned bands around on the internet are of very suspect musical standard. They just know how to promote themselves and record companies probably don't want to sign them because they know that they'll just be trying to polish (and sell) and already well polished turd.
