a town not far from you
solely disorientated from my passive self
slowly eroding my fading health
as the water flows to clean my wounds
grabbing a handful of somewhere new
its like I want to take a swim
across the lake to find bliss
around the bend to find that town
or slowly sinking am I ti drown
somewhere that doesn’t expect a label
naming things from under the table
closed eyed to my open mind
open up to see what you could find
no structure no broken promises
of our newly formed premises
when I don’t have to rhyme
to be able to create my own lines
its just over there I am so close I can taste it
if more people find out then they’ll waste it
just like what’s going on now
in your life at your home
