Tarkus > Trilogy IMO, for the title track alone, though Trilogy has more good songs than both Tarkus and BSS, but none of the songs stand out like Karn Evil 9 off BSS or the self titled track off Tarkus. Another album that shouldn't be counted out is their s/t debut. Those 4 are the only ELP studio albums worth having IMO.

Also American Beauty is my favorite Grateful Dead album, which some may find odd, because it's the least Grateful Dead-ish album they have ever done. But Therapin Station is awesome.
