Well I think that all amounts to Malcolm McLaren being a giant ****head, and I still don't see how this would change anyone's opinion on Rotten or the Pistols themselves, especially when what you're saying happened post-breakup. I think that the deceitfulness associated with the band is due to Malcolm and the truth and creativity due to Rotten, so it might be hard to distinguish at times but I don't think Malcolm's so-called influence on the band should change anyone's minds about Rotten or the band itself when they had such a positive influence on the scene at the time and for future generations.
