I actually have a funny story about this. A friend of mine came up with the term extremo, and I thought it was awesome so we decided to start the first extremo band. Then I saw on The #12 Looks Like You's wikipedia page that they were classified as "extremo." Then I saw on emosummer's myspace that they claimed to have invented the term extremo. My friend had never seen either of these, and I'm sure he actually did come up with it by himself, but obviously my dreams were still crushed. I guess it wasn't that funny, or probably even interesting at all. Sorry.
Oh, yeah, and today I saw "Xtremo" on a gatorade bottle.
