Hi jackhammer.

Hasn't there been a time in your life where you went through some bad experiences, learned from it, and then thought "I wish someone would have told me that."?

My question is in fact looking for tips on what to reach out for, and what to avoid.

Why "Do your own thing and learn along the way", when you can learn from someone else whose "been there and done that"? Besides, if you're completely new to the scene, your way could end up costing you lots of money, your career, valuable time, etc?

So, any good books out there I should read before taking the plunge?
