Old blues men from the mississippi delta (Arguably the starting of most if not all modern music) did not look at thier music as a mathematical equation, i guarantee you. i never saw robert Johnson play, and for all you or i know, he sat there with the same expression the whole time he played. but you can still hear what he wants you to. I know plenty of great musicians who can play anything they want, but they will never sound like some of the gods we have mentioned. ever.
