Biggest trading partner? I doubt it, look at China.
I never said "ya'll blasted us off the face of the planet". I said "...hurt us if ya'll we blasted off the face of the planet.." (by we I meant were).
Justification? I posted earlier in this thread about justification outside of WMDs. Does not give anybody the authority to goto war? Okay so in WII we should have just sat there because after Pearl Harbor being bombed we still didn't have justification (according to your standards). So what would Saddam have to do besides abusing, murdering, molesting, etc millions of his own people? I already gave my opinion about the UN. If I had mine (and quiet a few other people) ways the UN would have no property in the USA and would also receive 0 funds from the USA.
The middle east already hated us for whatever reasons, going to war with them I think did little to escalate their hate as IMHO they hated us, "to their max".

When you say "no one else would do it so we did" i'm pretty sure you're reffering to the war in iraq, if not, sorry. But the reason no other country jumped on board is because they were able to see that there was no justification to go to war with a country who had made no threats to the rest of the world. Yes Sadam was a terrible leader, yes he was torturing and killing innocent people within his own country, yes it's a terrible situation, but that DOES NOT give anybody the authority to go to war with another country, against the wishes of the UN, and under false pretences no less. War is not going to help the situation, only create more tension in a part of the world that is ready to fall apart as it was, without the added pressure of the US bombing the hell out of them, creating even more hostility to the US from the middle east, alienating the few allies they have in the middle east even more (aka Israel) and possibly making that conflict even worse.
