My girlfriend's dad is from there, so if the Junta ever ****s off I might get to go and see his part of the family. Until then I'd stay away - if you do go then sure as hell don't go out in public with a camera or the military will think you're a journalist, shoot you and claim it was a 'stray bullet'!
Oh, and call it Burma. Don't call it Myanmar because that's the name the military regime gave it and they're a bunch of twats.
