I'm not bragging but I was there when the San Diego scene started kicking off and got to see bands that no-one here will ever see or has seen. I guess I was in the right place at the right time. I'd rather say I went to an Evergreen show where nothing happened than say I saw that knob-head from MCR get hit in the head by a bottle of Piss at Reading.
Sorry...where was I? Oh yeah.....Moss Icon=emo. weleasewoger72=old-school emo kid.
P.S. Old school emo kid does sound kinda funny!
Wow dude, Im not jealous at all, that's one of the coolest things Ive ever seen. I think back to where I was in 1994-2004 from 8-18 and think of All of the awesome bands that I missed because I wasnt old enough and had no idea existed. I kick myself in the nut sack when I saw that Kodan Armada came to Baltimore's Charm City Art Space in 2003 when I was in high school and I was listening to New Found Glory and some other popular punk band's. I dont think there is much of an emo/screamo scene in Baltimore but oh well. Having Angel Hair play at your house! And seeing the very first locust shows, that's really respectable dude. Im sure Old locust sounded nothing like they do now, weren't they more just straight up death/grind. At least those are the earliest recordings I have of them before they even had bobby bray on synth haha. I think he played guitar right? Well, you're a God in my book. Hearing history about stuff from a first hand source is allways interesting because you see more about what happened than what wikipedia historians write.
