A: Girls need to be vaccinated before they can have contracted the virus, which means before they become sexually active, so most countries have recommended it in pre-pubescent girls.
I already said and agree that hpv isn't the only source of cervical cancer. And there
is a smaller chance of it being effective if your not a virgin because the chances are greater (1:3) of you contracting hpv through sex. But if you haven't contracted hpv through sex, good for you, but there is a much greater chance you have, ergo it is less effective.
