Fair point. You also left out the similar massive success. One of the more obnoxious things is that, we all know it was stolen, so why put both at the top of "classic" rock charts? I don't get it. You can't turn on a ****ing radio stateside without hearing one of those songs, and god help me if they play them back to back one more ****ing time.

And same point with their general success and album chart position. All zeppelin cd's just play like a greatest hits of the era, no? Is the Crunge not James Brown? I think so.

I wonder why there aren't more Taurusrulz and TaurusStu names here? Same god damned thing in my opinon.

But I can't agree with the Zeppelin haters 10 fold. Why constantly rehash that you hate Led Zeppelin because their thieves? We know they are, we've established that. To continuously mention it would be like constantly bashing other bands you don't like, say for example, I don't know U2. Can you imagine if people jsut went around slagging them all day? I'd go out of my ****ing mind.

Or conversely because as Mill said, we should review all options here, if people constantly praised some god awful hackney artist because it was hipster-ironic to do so. I cannot imagine a world in which people and the music press at large just jumped on every new bandwagon that came along. If you go riffling through the bargain bin theres too much there that thankfully was never touted, like the strokes, or bloc party. If the store is destitute enough, maybe they thought it was once wise to purchase the kaiser chiefs. But I'm well over the line, we know no one even in bizzaro land, no one likes them. The point is folks, we certainly can't have a music industry or fan base that jumps all over the next big thing, we need to stick with blindly praising old artists that "left their mark, took it up another level, and changed everything" because if we don't, we might be forced to get our own opinions.
