Having been a tourist in Mexico I can see where the natives are coming from, Americans flat out shouldn't be allowed to travel in groups. I have seen them treat people shamefully all in the name of their tourist dollar and scorn them for not being able to communicate in English (you're in a foreign country asshat!!!)
If the Yanks would learn some manners I'm sure the fatalities would drop, Yanks seem to be above humility for the most part and in groups it's worse. We were chillin' with a couple from Pittsburgh who just couldn't figure out why people have negative stereotypes of Americans, then when we pointed out their obvious mis-graces were deeply shamed
