Saw transformers last night, great effects as promised. The plot wasn't exactly the thickest but ****, it's transformers. They definitely did better than what I was expecting.

The lost Oliver Stone film (PLATOON/WORLD TRADE CENTRE). Eric Bogosian (who also co-wrote) delivers a tour-de-force as the radio talk show host whose battle with his listeners and his own tortured soul descends into tragedy. Mainly shot superbly within the confines of a radio studio, the film touches upon many themes-loneliness, madness, love, self loathing and the transient notion of celebrity. I first saw it over ten years ago and loved it. I got another chance to see it tonight and it still blew me away. If you are looking for something that little more cerebral, watch TALK RADIO.

This still remains one of my favorite films of all time. Good shout mate.
