2. Dozens? List them? Sounds like an exaggeration to me.
3. So? Plenty of bands have the ability to write good pop songs. Pop isn't the most complex genre in the world.
4. Musicianship doesn't equal good music look at Dream Theater.
5. How is representing the hippie culture even worth stating?
6. They were plenty more influential bands then them some of which even predate them like Country Joe & The Fish and the Zombies. The Doors started the same time as them and they were be tter then theres Hendrix and Cream and so on. You're overrating them.
