Default (I Want More) Controversy And Confrontation

I did a rappy sort of poem. I know I'm no Immortal Technique, but hey, whitey's tryin'.

(I Want More) Controversy And Confrontation

The revolutionary is paying homage to his people.
Have you ever even taken history? This country was founded on rebelry.
It’s interesting that the patriots are bigots against love and peace
And if the explosions ceased
Where would Halliburton get its money?
How could the rich drive SUVs?

I want confrontation
To keep in touch with the
Traditions of controversy
No, the truth can’t hurt me
But it’ll put a knife through
The heart of the government
Hearts of cement.
They sell their souls to the devil
Thereby ripping the devil off.

I want to tear into
The sandstone of the White House.
I want to storm that fucker
Like the Bastille
Conquer like a Conquistador
But for a cause that’s moral
The more I think the more I feel.
Emotions thrown around like a windowpane in a hurricane.

I am quickly growing less sane.
The more pain I feel the more anger
Wells up inside me, I want to be free
From a prison of the politics of manner and civility.
I want to rage out on something or someone
I want to scream and throw my body around.
I want a citizen’s brigade to go up to the president
And cuff him, and throw him in a basement.
No need to keep the key.

Capital Hill is haunted and
The hill of the capital haunted is a daunting prospect for a citizen
Who wants to have faith in the body that speaks for him
But really doesn’t, in actuality it speaks to self interest and lobbyists.
The politicians are politicking and destroying the beauty of humanity.
