I respect my supervisors because they have earned my respect. I told my old manager that he was a dumb jackass who had no place in management. I still kept my job and ended up with a promotion ahead of my peers. Yes men don't make it far. You have to have a backbone to be successful. Working young teaches you the value of a dollar better because know what it takes to earn one.
