So...I haven't see much about this genre posted but I though I'd give it a shot. Even though these genres are separate I thought I could combine two on my loves in a single thread.

I grew up a Gram Parsons fan and have carried that forward with me. I also grew up listening to Appalachian roots musics because my dad was a fan. So, it was fantastic when I heard bands like Uncle Tupelo and Gillian Welch bringing back the music I'd loved from my youth.

Any fans here? If so, I have scads of music that I'd love to share with you.
