My Dad Is Dead - Peace , Love And Murder

Don't know an awful lot about this band but their lead singer sounds EXACTLY like Ian Curtis and the music sounds a lot like Flip Your Wig era Husker Du. So naturally I like it a lot.

The Models - AlphaBravoCharlieDeltaEchoFoxtrotGolf

Australian post punk ... noisy , abrasive , energetic and lots of synths. Not really that original but I could listen to this stuff all day. A bit like The Fall , but more accessible.

Frank Zappa - The Grand Wazoo

Had this for ages but never got around to listening to it. It makes interesting background chill out music anyway. Not his best album but an average Zappa album is better than a lot of bands good albums.

Adorable - Against Perfection

Adorable bridged the gap between early 90s shoegaze & britpop.
A bit poppier than your average shoegaze band and a lead singer with a big mouth & bundles of attitude.
Should have been much bigger than what they were.
