Default Enon - any fans?

I really dig them of late. John Schmersal, formerly of Brainiac, is the mastermind behind this three-piece band from Philadelphia. Previous line-ups saw ex-Skeleton Key members Steve Calhoon (later replaced by former Blonde Redhead bassist Toko Vasuda) and Rick Lee, who features on the critically acclaimed and my personal favourite album 2002’s High Society. I would advocate this album as a good introduction to anyone wanting to check out this band. Their style is both creative and intellectual, featuring imaginative instrumental arrangements and sophisticated lyrics.

They start a US tour this month. Tickets tend to be quite cheap, so to anyone fortunate enough to live near the venues I think it would really be worth your time to check them out. Check their myspace for tour dates, where mp3s and vids are available for your listening pleasure:
