I listen to country music for the fact that, that is where todays music got most of it's roots. If one was to study music, you would see that between blues, country and classical music. Todays music has evolved into something really spectacular. Yet you have some bands that get record deals for no apparent reason at all, but to stand on a stage in a room full of people that have no recollection of what good music really is. I find that country music is a bit sad at times, but look at other music that is listened to as well. People singing about killing others, songs of the broken hearted, songs of happiness, and songs that just don't make any sense at all. So yeah country music is the bomb. These country artists sing Gospal, sad, happy, and great songs all around, and 98% of it all makes sense to me. Just my thoughts as to your question lol.
