Okay lets look at Weezer from a subjective standpoint.
Generally well liked: Blue Album
Liked by fans: Pinkerton
Generally considered average: Green Album
Generally considered bad: Maladroit, Make Believe
I think we can rule Weezer out based on their mediocrity/bad albums outweighing their good ones.
