My parents brought me up on Neil Diamond, Moody Blues, and Peter, Paul and Mary. Moody Blues don't entirely suck, but the rest... Ugh.
When I listened to my own music, I had (for example) Michael Jackson's "Thriller" on vinyl, Debbie Gibson on tape, and eventually, Vanilla Ice on CD. After that, I think childhood was over.
