I don't hate the Stones, I actually do like them and whenever someone calls them talentless (which is not rare on the forums I visit where people care a lot more about technical skill) I will jump to their defense.

That being said, I still think The Rolling Stones are MAD overrated, and the most overrated musicians of the 20th century along with Bob Dylan.

I do like Johnny Marr, all my disdain toward The Smiths is aimed directly at Morrissey.
