Dance music is a style of rock music, the kind that Britney Spears and Ashlee Simpson make. Teen pop isn't a genre, it's a style of rock music. I figured the name teen pop would be pretty self-explanatory, but I guess not. Teen pop, is dance-pop, pop, and urban that is geared toward teens and often performed by teens as well. Pop is more broad, music based on memorable melodies, repeated sections, and tight, concise structures.
