Brian Eno - enjoy several of his albums, esp. music for airports
Wire - admirable band, grew up listening to pink flag
Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - impacted my musical world more than any other artist
The Rolling Stones - decent rock band that i slightly prefer over the beatles
The Velvet Underground - debut and white light/white heat are great but self-titled and loaded are ****
T. Rex - prefer tyrannosaurus rex over just t. rex
Minutemen - great band but i prefer hüsker dü over them slightly
Ludwig van Beethoven - who the **** is that?
New York Dolls - greatness
Roxy Music - enjoyed their self-titled, but everything else seemed weak and/or fake
Brett Smiley - the little i've heard from him is disappointing
Talking Heads - enjoyable group, liked 77 and remain in light a lot
Frank Zappa - genius, weasels ripped my flesh, burnt weeny sandwich, and absolutely free are godly
****ney Rebel - average, although i do like the song tumbling down off of psychomodo
Hüsker Dü - grand band, everything falls apart > zen arcade/new day rising
The Cars - some listenable pop music
The Stooges - the greatness that the doors failed to be
This Heat - incredible band; self-titled is MUCH better than deceit
The Kinks - i've got a place in my heart for the kinks, face to face = best album
Can - good band, 'nuff said
The Soft Boys - another band i grew up with, old pervert is a classic song
The Feelies - great band with one of the greatest drummers of all time
Pere Ubu - incredible.
