IMO Sublime are just plain better, way better melodists and songwriters. Their funny songs are funnier than Offsprings funny songs and they're better musicians, Nowell had some sweet solos up his sleeve.
I used to be obsessed with Offspring when I was a kid. But now I see them as being just a decent band. I can't really bear to listen to Dexter Hollands vocals anymore. Noodles had some pretty sweet riffs though, gotta love that opening riff to Americana.
