i use FL studio, there's over 1000 sounds on there.
how many different instruments does that give me acess to?
it's not like you can just whip up somethin' that sounds good without putting some work into it. programing isn't easy.
i put as much work into a song on FL as someone writing an acoustic guitar song, i just don't have to play it over and over again.
another reason people prog is to add other instruments to their song. i know pleanty of people who play guitar, but can't affor bass or drums. so they put in the drums and bass with the guitar.
