System was and is one of the only bands of its type (and don't feed me nu-metal genre bull
shit..that label is a misnomer and complete f
ucking insult). There is not another band I would compare System to. They were consistent innovators and the fact that they landed some radio play isn't any reason not to listen to them. Admittedly, some of their earlier works lacked melodic structure, but they were provocative enough. And as the band grew, it became more and more interesting to hear Serj develop his vocal talents and Daron blossom into the amazing songwriter and musician he is today. You can hate the fans as long as you like, but you must have your head interred several feet up your ass if you can't hear the brilliance in the carefully constructed harmonies and impressive melodies.
