Beatles singles competed with each other for the #1 spot. I don't think that the amount of number ones really bears any justification though, since there are plenty of number one pop stars out there that don't deserve to lick the shit off the Beatles shoes.


Seems a little juvenile like to me to be making generalizations like that.


Not everyone values the same qualities in a band.
