There are many good Irish bands... it depends on what kind you enjoy. Some of the best I have heard are CLANNAD, although I would stick to their material from the 80's. The 70's stuff is true Irish Folk music, so if that is what you are looking for, then have at it. The 80's brought out a more lush sound. They are the sister and brother of Enya, as well as two cousins (?). Another one I have recently discovered is IONA. They have some Brits in the band, including the former bass player for KajaGooGoo, and old 80's band.
