It turns out to be an undiscovered little gem chock full of great tracks. Double kudos points. Everyone is a winner. Latest examples : Metric. Silversun Pickups. Le Peuple De L'herbe.
I wish I had friends who did this. All of my friends only listen to standard classic rock or modern radio-friendly country or Top 40 ****. My only friend who actually listens to full albums pretty much only listens to the most obvious choices (Dark Side of the Moon, Led Zeppelin's complete discography, The Beatles, etc.), and thinks that Franz Ferdinand is the only good modern band.
