I have a queue of people at work asking me to make them CD's or recommend them something new. I'm pretty good at guessing who would like what.
Unfortunately the unexpected rarely happens for me...maybe once or twice a year and usually from here.
I think the 'Dig' album was the last time I was instantly blown away.
Calexico is the only band making an impression on me at the moment.
Wish it would happen more often.
