I can't be too critical or you will ban me.
But lets say that while your bands are good they deserve a mention but they are off shoots and they didn't really speak to kids new coming through but rather to already done kids who had grown and evolved with steady eddy laid back musak.
Do you see?
It is like if Noel goes now and does some work on other groups and sings about divorce and life as a middle aged man.
My bands were starting something for the next lot new and fresh.
I don't like Joy division much but I put them in because I appreciate others love them, you see?
And they were influential whereas your two bands or artists while good probbaly didn't do much for kids looking for something as they peak and flourish.
