Why sad lyrics are BAD!
ok, im so SICK of every single person i know writing songs that sound like funeral marches so im making this thread to explain WHY YOUR DEPRESSED LYRICS ARE BAD!
iight, so when you want to write lyrics...you have to remember a coupple of things, they should reflect you! So, you try to search your soul and find whats really deep down...and guess what...you FAIL!
heres the deal, everyone and i mean everyone writes lyrics that have something to do with the following at some point
1. People dont understand me
2. People dont know the real me
3. Your sad because you didnt get something you wanted.
ALL of the above can be fixed...
ever think of it this way?
the Reason people dont "understand you" is because people arent meant to be understood! Sure, you got friends who are on the same page as you are...but really...nobody is understood so quit whining.

most musicians are good about this...it takes a certain kind of person to make desent sounding music, and i DONT mean rap! rap sucks! nuf said.
if your honestly writing about not getting a boyfriend/girlfriend...quit music and kill yourself.
