Of course the single player could be better, it's VERY basic, but to be fair of all the time i've played Brawl about 5% of that has been single player. It's a multiplayer game at heart.
The more i use it the more i want a better level creater If they put a bit more time into that then the replay value would be through the roof, especially if you could have the same architecture and backgrounds as the original levels.

Yeah. I liked stage builder and have had some real fun with it, but I am very disappointed by how basic it is.
The next Smash should correct this without a doubt. I want a HUGE variety of obstacles and traps to choose from, a variety of colors, shapes and designs for platforms to choose from, a much greater variety of backgrounds, and even music available only for custom stages.
Being able to build scrolling and changing stages would be awesome too.
