I fail to see what is suspicious. The rumour was started with absolutely no basis whatsoever, and has been completely and thoroughly dismissed. there is no investigation into his heritage because the matter has been settled.
Your talking a lot about smoke and fires and covering up issues. Yet you haven't mentioned one word about the troopergate scandal. That is a big issue. THAT concerns the republican VP nominee under investigation for misuse of power and the entire republican party doing everything they can to cover it up.
