I knew my engineering consulting firm had a no test policy (or reserve the right, but dont), and is one of the selling points to keep me from going to the majors. Ultimately long term incentives are what drew me in, but this was a very strong sell point... even if they didnt know it
It is all so irrelevant. Drug policies are absurd; if you get your work done, let it be. I never understood how companies can sponsor happy hours, yet enforce strict drug testing policies. Peoples personal lives should be left alone unless it affects their ability on the job.
