I'm not big on the interlude tracks either, and I think Pinball Wizard is one of the Who's weakest tracks (the BBC version smokes the album version), but the best songs (We're Not Gonna Take It, Underture, Sally Simpson, Cousin Kevin, Christmas) are a match for just about any other band's work.

The concept is crap, the lyrics can be overbearing, but the music is wonderful. It's a great zoning out album.
