amn I love both of those songs a ton. Dogs is definitly my favorite 'Animals' track, the intense and sarcastic Water's lyrics along with Gilmour's best soloing (maybe). The climax at the end is amazing, the last minute or so of the song.
And I really get the Peter Pan appeal, it is an awesome feeling in Barrett's music. Wayne Coyne and Robert Hitchco

Syd Barrett: Wayne Coyne and Robyn Hitchcock Pay Tribute
It's a nice quick read, especially if you like both the Flaming Lips and Barrett.
But ultimately my favorite song is Interstellar Overdrive.
It didn't used to be my favorite Floyd song, but overtime the essence and crazyness of the song just captivated me. Amazing piece of work. My second favorite would probably be 'See Emily Play' or 'Matilda Mother', love the lyrics and passion put into the singing.
