Why is being a pop rapper immediately looked upon as bad?

Being a popular rap artist is one thing but being a pop rapper is another.
Soulja boy is a pop rapper. If you think DMX and Soulja Boy are on the same side of the rap coin then thats all on you.
But you would be incorrect.
Also its very easy to look past his bad songs when you have songs like Fame, Slippin, Look Thru My Eyes, and Ready to Meet Him to listen to. His batting avg on his albums is actually very very good. Meaning the ratio of songs real DMX fans like and songs casual rap fans like (thats normally because they havent even heard the album they hear party up and think every track on the album sounds like that).
