I'm not saying it's hard to use the wiimote. I've used it and it's fine. It's just that I prefer the traditional style of controller, because I'm so used to it that I'm almost not aware that I'm using it. Until physical simulation aspects in video games become much more extensive, I think they seem more distracting than immersive, though I'm not saying this will be the case for all players. My point about third parties wasn't that I thought Nintendo etc tell them what games to make...I just meant that I thought the game developers would be trying to make games that the console producers would be willing to pick up, so the preferences of the various platforms would have a decent degree of influence on how games were made and pitched. Perhaps I was using my imagination a bit too much on that one though; when I really think about some of the games I've seen and played, the consoles will let almost anything through that has decent enough graphics, apparently.
