As assholish as this may sound, I have no desire to see MusicBanter evolve into that. We have an even mix of personality and knowledge. There is consistently strong content (from most members) and I don't want it to dissolve into a gigantic orgy like so many other music forums.
I tried Sputnik for about three minutes and realized how bad that place sucks. Nowhere in the entire f
ucking forum did people actually discuss music. It was just what that dude described: a bunch of pricks patting each other on the back and a few odd one-word album reviews.
I love MusicBanter. I don't want it to change.
