There is a lot in between Soulja Boy and Horrorcore and it isn't all political. But if you want heavier stuff, Jedi Mind Tricks is good as previously mentioned, also Big L can be pretty dark, Ill Bill maybe? Im not really an expert on the genre, and I'm not saying you can't like it, but if you are simply fed up of main stream crap, then there are a lot of other options...
