I completely disagree.
I think that in an era of diminishing quality of vintage metal bands (especially NWOBHM), Black Sabbath has remained refreshing throughout. And other than Never Say Die!, the Ozzy years were plagued by good album after good album, and I can't imagine growing tired of them any time soon. Maybe it was Ozzy's vocals, maybe it was Iommi's simple guitar riffs, but Black Sabbath has never felt like they seemed dated, and when you consider there were once bands that enjoyed success like Krokus, UFO and Whitesnake, Black Sabbath still sounds pretty f
uckin' good.
Not to mention they just created a brilliant movie based off a Black Sabbath song. Sounds like someone still has an affinity for them.
