It just means that they're no longer in your music folder.
On Windows go to C documents, Music, iTunes, iTunes Music, and search for the artist and then the song.
On Mac, just go to Music, iTunes, iTunes music and do the same.
Since you deleted the songs, restore them from your trash bin and double-click the songs with the exclamation mark to "relocate song" and you should now be able to browse your library for the song again.
