I'll recommend "The Earl Scruggs Revue" from 1973 which really has a lot of guest artists on it.

.. So Earl Scruggs did a lot with other people, most notably Lester Flatt as they were a bit of a duo (Scruggs & Flatt / Foggy Mountain Boys). That stuff's good too.
I was preparing for a Foggy Mountain Boys review, thanks for stealing my thunder.
