Regarding the great KC (not Kurt) I asked a lot of my uni classmates if they had any idea who king crimson was, not one person knew, and that is indeed the greatest krime.

Completely true, such a great band that is forgotten...I also would like to add The Flaming Lips. They have been getting a bit more commercial but I never hear anyone talk about them at all in my school. I think that they play music that Britain would appreciate and would be much more popular if they originated in Britain. Not as popular as Radiohead, but way more popular than they are now.
