It was sarcasm, but there really isnt alot of well know people coming out of america. First link i saw on top djs:
1 TIESTO
2 ARMIN VAN BUUREN
3 PAUL VAN DYK
4 ATB
5 CARL COX
6 SASHA
7 FERRY CORSTEN
8 DAVID GUETTA
9 DEEP DISH
10 JOHN DIGWEED

Only 1 of those is american. I live on the east coast and I've tryied hard to find established people in electronical and I have yet to find any. When i head out to the west coast (Vegas and Denver) its alot easier to find good music. But compared to europe america is almost nonexistant in established people. I have friends from england, german, spain and norway and they all tell me about every day how their is something going down in terms of electronical.

And the east coast isnt devoid of music, its just mostly rap music. While in boston every day I was able to go to a rap concert and only once in 3 years could I find something electronic. Same can be said for New York, what little time i spent there
