Let's put it this way: There are good people, and bad people. Good people, like you and I (I hope
) do not deserve to be tortured or slaughtered. Bad people, like Hitler, Stalin, and Hussein, all deserved to be tortured and slaughtered for the thousands, if not millions that they slaughtered in their day (I hope we can at least agree on that).
Animals are neutral. For the most part, they can do no good or bad in their life, unless they were trained to, and usually the thought of slaughtering trained animals doesn't come up. Now for all the various animals we eat:
The only good they can do in their lifetime is to feed a family, no more and no less.
